The client had a requirement for a multi-use storage area within the main hall of the school. The units were designed to hold musical equipment, PE equipment and also offer high level wall units which were out of reach of the pupils for staff access only, which could have been fully lockable if required. The low level open units were manufactured to fit the size of their existing storage containers. To prevent accidents or risk to students, the edge of the work surface included a 45 degree angle. To keep the area nice and airy and easy to clean and maintain, we recommended a maple effect laminated panel with a durable 30mm full post formed work surface. A double fixing bow handle was fitted to give easy use and long lasting durability.
